Karachi is the capital of Sindh and Pakistan's largest city and principal seaport, on the Arabian Sea north-west of the Indus delta. It is also the resting place of the country's founder, Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Mohatta Palace, built in 1927 of yellow Gizri and pink Jodhpur stone, housed the first Foreign Ministry in 1947 and later became the residence of Fatima Jinnah. It reopened as a museum in 1999.
